Dr. Nauert is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. A Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry must complete a minimum of 500 continuing education hours and pass a 400 question exam to be so recognized. He is active in the local and national dental society, serving as Chairman of the Legislative Affairs committee.

Dr. Nauert has attended all six levels of the prestigious Pankey Institute, a strenuous continuing education program for dentists, and completed the Pankey Dawson’s Masters Forum.

Dr. Nauert was named one of the Top Dentists in Texas by Texas Monthly for 2006 and 2007. He was named by the Consumer Research Council as one of the Top Dentists in America in 2003-2004.

Active in the Bellaire community, Dr. Nauert has served on the Bellaire City Council for two terms and is currently serving his third term. He was President of the Bellaire/Southwest Houston Rotary Club in 2006-2007, and is still very active in Rotary.

Dr. Vaughan completed a one year post doctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at the Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Vaughan is involved with helping his community through church and Rotary International. He is a past president of the Braes Bayou Rotary Club.
